Gifty had always maintained that she had never been married. In fact, in an exclusive interview with us at Entertainment.naij.com, she insisted that she did not know Sorochukwu Akumah, the movie director reported to be her ex-husband.
But in a surprising turn of events, she granted a recent interview to Hip TV explaining that yes she was once married but that she was 19 when it happened and that the marriage wasn’t even legal.
