Thought For The Day...✍

We sought four traits, but did not achieve them because we did not seek them from their rightful resources; we sought richness in money, but richness is in contentment. We sought comfort in abundant, but comfort is really in having little. We sought honor in good mannerism (not for the sake of ALLAAH), but honor lies in the taqwa. We sought delight in food and clothes, but delight is in modesty and Islām.

Life in the Cave - Sacrifices of Rasulullah and Abu Bakr

When Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and Abu Bakr (RA) reached mount Thawr during the migration to Medina, Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) carried him up the mountain to a cave called after the name of the mountain, Cave Thawr. Abu Bakr first entered to explore the cave and be sure that it was safe, closed all holes with pieces torn off from his clothes, cleaned it and then asked the Prophet (Peace be upon him) to step in. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) went in and immediately laid his head in Abu Bakr's lap and fell asleep. Suddenly Abu Bakr's foot was stung by a poisonous insect. It hurt so much that his tears fell on the Prophet's face. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) immediately applied his saliva on Abu Bakr's foot and the pain went off on the spot. They confined themselves to this cave for three nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 'Abdullah, the son of Abu Bakr would go to see them after dusk, stay the night there, apprise them of the latest situation in Makkah, and then leave in the early morning to mix with the Makkans as usual and not to draw the least attention to his clandestine activities. 'Amir bin Fuhairah, while in the company of other shepherds of Makkah tending his master Abu Bakr's flock, used to stole away unobserved every evening with a few goats to the cave and furnished its inmates with a plentiful supply of milk.

WIDOWS' PLIGHT

.
.
The death of a loved one is often traumatic and could adversely affect a person. But our society makes it sound that the nature favours a widower above the widow.
.
A man who lost his wife tends to quickly get over it but women who their husband dies are much more affected when such things happen, problems of insomnia, high blood pressure, sense of neglect, sense of lost, fear of the unknown set in all at once in a terrible shock.
.
Widowers can re-marry early enough after the demise of their wives but if a widow should try to get married so early, people would start to see her as a lady that lacks chastity while others begin to suspect her if she's had a hand in the death of her husband
.
A widower can decide to get married at any time he believes he is ready for it, even at any age. Incase of a 70 year old widower the children would feel concerned and most time arrange for a young woman for their father because they believe that their father should not remain alone, But reverse is the case of a widow even if she's just 30 years old, if care is not taken she may remain single for ever.
.
Many people are of the opinion that when the husband dies, the sexual emotion of the wife should die with her husband. She should never venture or dream of any serial act with anybody. She should see her children as her children.
.
Why should we be deceiving ourselves, the position of a child remains constant, i.e. Child-mother relationship, why should a child turn to be the husband? The role of the husband is quite different and vital. Husband is the husband, he has sexual and other roles to play which is forbidden of a son to play in all ramifications.
.
In case of a widower, people won't preach to him to take his daughter to be his wife, rather they quickly organize and get a damsel for him.
.
Apart from sexual needs, every human needs someone to discuss with, to share views and feeling with, because problems shared is half or almost solved. The widow still needs someone to partner with her in life and look after her children. Many children that involve in crime because they lack parental care, some as a result of the death of their father and there's no one to look after them or caution them when they misbehaves.
.
Widows should be look up to, and we should help them. Men intending to take other wives should marry the widows (am not saying it is compulsory upon them). And wives should allow their husbands to marry the widow, they should not be over possessive, God owns every soul. They shouldn't disgrace or blackmail the widow their husband is intending to marry. They should feel for them and put themselves in their shoes.
.
.
May Allah ease our affairs

Abdullah ibn Masud at his death bed

Abdullah ibn Masud lived to the time of Khalifah Uthman, may God be pleased with him. When he was sick and on his death-bed, Uthman came to visit him and said:

"What is your ailment?"

"My sins."

"And what do you desire?"

"The mercy of my Lord."

"Shall I not give you your stipend which you have refused to take for years now?"

"I have no need of it."

"Let it be for your daughters after you."

"Do you fear poverty for my children? I have commanded them to read Surah al-Waqiah every night for I have heard the Prophet saying, "Whoever reads Al-Waqiah every night shall not be afflicted by poverty ever."

That night, Abdullah passed away to the company of his Lord, his tongue moist with the remembrance of God and with the recitation of the verses of His Book.

Abdullah ibn Masud bleeds to recite the Quran

The companions of the Prophet were together one day in Makkah. They were still few in number. weak and oppressed. They said, "The Quraysh have not yet heard the Quran being recited openly and loudly. Who is the man who could recite it for them?'

"I shall recite it from them," volunteered Abdullah ibn Masud . "We are afraid for you," they said. "We only want someone who has a clan who would protect him from their evil . "

"Let me," Abdullah ibn Masud insisted, "Allah shall protect me and keep me away from their evil." He then went out to the mosque until he reached Maqam Ibrahim (a few meters from the Kabah). It was dawn and the Quraysh were sitting around the Kabah. Abdullah stopped at the Maqam and began to recite:

"Bismillah irRahma nirRahim. Ar-Rahman. Allama-l Quran. Khalaqal insan. Allamahul bayan... (In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. The Merciful God. He has taught the Quran. He has created man and taught him the clear truth...)"

He went on reciting. The Quraysh looked at him intently and some of them asked: "What is Ibn Umm Abd saying?" "Damn him! He is reciting some of what Muhammad brought!" they realized. They went up to him and began beating his face as he continued reciting. When he went back to his companions the blood was flowing from his face. "This is what we feared for you," they said. "By God," replied Abdullah, "the enemies of God are not more comfortable than I at this moment. If you wish. I shall go out tomorrow and do the same."

The words reflect one's inner self

Mahmud was a very pious man, but he was not very attractive looking. One day, he was walking along the road, minding his own business, when a lady came up to him, and started calling him names and abusing him. This lady kept saying all kinds of nasty things, and Mahmud just listened to her patiently. Finally, when she was finished calling him names and abusing him, Mahmud just greeted her, smiled, and said

"and a nice day to you," and continued on his way.

Why did Mahmud, the pious man, behave this way?

It is because he knew that everything she said was just a reflection of her own inner self.

If you use bad language, you are just making obvious to everybody how far away you really are from Allah, since your words are in reality a reflection of your own inner self.

The man who made a promise to tell the truth

Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.

Once a man came to the prophet Muhammad (S) and said, "Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The prophet said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man promised to do so and went home.

At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the prophet. "If tomorrow the prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing."

So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit.

Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person.

If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah likes and favors. If Allah - our Creator - is pleased with us, He will reward us with HEAVEN, which is a place of happiness and joy.

9.You gossip and find faults in others, but you forget your own faults and mistakes

10.You bury the dead, but you don not take a lesson from it

From the Glorious Quran:

O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).

Nor be like those who say, “We hear,” but listen not:

For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not.

If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).

O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

The people of innovations in Islam is like the Scorpion

The saying of Imaam al-Barbaharee رحمه الله about the Ahlul-Bidah (innovation):

((مثل أصحاب البدع مثل العقارب يدفنون رؤوسهم وأبدانهم في التراب، ويخرجون أذنابهم، فإذا تمكنوا لدغوا، وكذلك أهل البدع، هم مختفون بين الناس، فإذا تمكنوا بلغوا ما يريدون. ))

“The example of the people of innovations is like the scorpion. They bury their bodies and heads in the sands, but their (venomous) tails are exposed, so that when they are able they will sting. Likewise are the people of innovation, they are concealed amongst the people, then when they are able, they will deliver (from their bid’ah) what they can.”

[Source: Tabaqat al-Hanabilah, (2/44-45)]

Shaykh al-Allaamah Saalih bin Fawzaan al-Fawzaan حفظه الله was asked regarding this statement:

السؤال: يقول السائل ما معنى قول بعض السلف: ” أهل البدع كالعقارب، تدفن رأسها وتبقي أذنابها حتى إذا تمكنت لدغت ؟

Question: The questioner says: What is the meaning of the statement from some of the Salaf: The innovators are like the scorpion, he buries his head while leaving his tail out, such that when he is able to, he stings?

The Shaykh حفظه الله replied:

Yes. This speech is clear. The people of innovation have with them hypocrisy. The people of innovation have been afflicted with hypocrisy. And it is that they display good while they hide evil, they display good to the people as a way of deception.

{{ They try to deceive Allah and those who believe…}} [Soorah al-Baqarah (2):9]

And they conceal the evil. And when they have the ability to spread evil, they spread it, just like the scorpion.

Wisdom of Iyas Ibn Muawiyah

A man came to Iyas Ibn Mu'awiyah, a Muslim judge famous for his wisdom, and the following conversation took place between them:

Man: What is the Islamic ruling regarding wine?

Judge: It is Haram (Forbidden).

Man: How about water?

Judge: It is Halal (Permissible).

Man: How about dates and grapes?

Judge: They are Halal.

Man: Why is it that all these ingredients are Halal, and yet when you combine them, they become Haram?

The judge looked at the man and said: If I hit you with this handful of dirt, do you think it would hurt you?

Man: It would not.

Judge: How about if I hit you with this handful of straw?

Man: It would not hurt me.

Judge: How about a handful of water?

Man: It surely would not hurt me.

Judge: How about if I mix them, and let them dry to become a brick, and then hit you with it, would it hurt you?

Man: It would hurt me and might even kill me!

Judge: The same reasoning applies to what you asked me!!

Iyas Ibn Muawiyah Al-Muzani was a tabi'i Qadi (judge) in the 2nd century AH who lived in Basra (modern day Iraq). He was renowned for possessing immense cleverness which became a favourite topic in Arabic folklore.

Malik Bin Dinar and the Thief

A burglar scaled the wall of Maalik Bin Dinar's house one night and easily managed to get inside. Once inside the house, the thief was disappointed to see nothing worth stealing. Maalik was busy performing prayer. Realizing he was not alone, he quickly ended his prayer and turned around to face the thief.

Without showing any signs of shock or scare, Maalik calmly extended greetings of peace and said, "My brother, may Allah forgive you. You entered my home and found nothing worth taking, yet I do not want you to leave without taking away some benefit."

He went in another room and came back with a jug full of water. He looked into the eyes of the burglar and said,

"Make ablution and perform two units of prayer, for if you do so, you will leave my home with a greater treasure than you had initially sought."

Humbled by Maalik's manners and words, the thief said, "Yes, that is a generous offer indeed."

After making ablution and performing two units of prayer, the burglar said, "O Maalik, would you mind if I stayed for a while, for I want to stay to perform two more units of prayer?"

Maalik said, "Stay for whatever amount of prayer Allah decrees for you to perform now."

The thief ended up spending the entire night at Maalik's house. He continued to pray until morning. Then Maalik said, "Leave now and be good."

But instead of leaving, the thief said, "Would you mind if I stayed here with you today, for I have made an intention to fast?"

"Stay as long as you wish," Maalik said.

The burglar ended up staying for a number of days, praying during the late hours of each night and fasting in the day. When he finally decided to leave, the burglar said, "O Maalik, I have made a firm resolve to repent for my sins and for my former way of life."

Maalik said, "That is in the Hand of Allah."

The man did mend his ways and began to lead a life of righteousness and obedience to Allah. Later on, he came across another burglar who asked him, "Have you found your treasure yet?"

He replied, "My brother, what I found is Maalik Bin Dinar. I went to steal from him, but it was he who ended up stealing my heart. I have indeed repented to Allah, and I will remain at the door (of His Mercy and Forgiveness) until I achieve what his obedient, loving slaves have achieved."

Marriage is not a playground where the ego thoughtlessly pursues its vanities. It is an institution that helps a man and a woman pursue the purpose of their creation: to glorify and worship ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA) and to work, within the extent of our capabilities and resources, to make the world a better place for those we share it with and for those we will leave it to.

HIJAABAH SISTER !

In this age of nudity
Which is a severe stupidity
Perhaps, a worldly mentality
I've dropped any kind of timidity
And I've put forward my religious ability
And I've made covering a priority
My creator blessed me with an awesome
physique
He told me it's unique
I should cover not only when I'm in the mosque
But even when I'm in the mall
Else, on the day of reckoning, I might fall
But He wants me to stand tall
He wants me to see the noor
So He alerted me in Suuratul Noor
When the weather is hot and I cover, the
question I
hear is "in this hotness?"
But when the weather is cold and some people
reveal, the question I don't hear is "in this
coldness?"
How unfair the world is!
The west thinks I'm being oppressed
Maybe they're possessed
They think covering is of the past
How can the command of the Almighty be past?
Truly, their thoughts are at last
Safeguarding my modesty is a must
So when I'm being loved, it's real, not a lust
So my marriage becomes fast
I'll now show to my hubby what I didn't show to
the
world
I'll show to him what I kept hidden from the
world
Because it's meant for solely him not for the
world
He will now see how gorgeous I am
How rare I am
How truly unique I am
Because when thousands of ladies chose to be
as
cheap as stones found everywhere
I chose to be as uncommon as a diamond not
found
everywhere
In his eyes, I'll glitter like a star
Because I chose to be an HIJAABAH SISTER

RULING ON CLAPPING

Praise be to Allaah.
Clapping during parties is one of the actions of jaahiliyyah. The least that can be said about it is that it is makrooh (disliked), but the evidence suggests rather that it is haraam, because the Muslims are not allowed to resemble the kuffaar. Allah says describing the kuffaar of Makkah (interpretation of the meaning):
“Their Salaah (prayer) at the House (of Allaah, i.e. the Ka‘bah at Makkah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands”
[al-Anfaal 8:35]
The Sunnah is, when the believer sees something that he likes or dislikes, to say ‘Subhaan Allaah (Glory be to Allaah)’ or ‘Allaahu akbar (Allaah is Most Great),’ as was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in many ahaadeeth.
Clapping is prescribed specifically for women if something alarms them during the prayer, or they are praying with the men and the imaam makes a mistake in the prayer. In that case they should draw his attention to that by clapping, whereas men should do so by saying ‘Subhaan Allaah’, as was narrated in the saheeh Sunnah from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). From this it may be known that clapping on the part of men implies imitation of kaafirs and women, and all of that is forbidden. And Allaah is the source of strength.
Shaykh Ibn Baaz.
The Standing Committee was asked about men clapping when they play with children, or children clapping to encourage their classmates. They replied:
This clapping is not appropriate, and at the very least it is intensely makrooh because this is one of the characteristics of the jaahiliyyah, and because it is something that is done only by women, to draw attention to a mistake in the prayer. And Allaah is the Source of strength.
From Fataawa Islamiyyah, vol. 4, p. 332-333
Children can be encouraged by saying ‘Allaahu akbar’ if they do something that the watcher or listener likes, or one may use other suitable phrases, or raise one’s hands, or raise one’s voice in words of praise such as “Well done!” or “Excellent!” and so on. And Allaah is the Source of strength.

The Concept of Democracy in Islam

I heard that the word democracy is derived from Islam. Is that true? What is the ruling on promoting democracy?

Praise be to Allah.

Firstly:

Democracy is not an Arabic word. Rather it is derived from the Greek, and it is a composite of two words: demos, meaning the masses or the people, and kratia, meaning rule. So what is meant is the rule of the masses or the rule of the people.

Secondly:

Democracy is a system that is contrary to Islam, because it gives the power of legislation to the people or to those who represent them (such as members of Parliament). Based on that, in democracy legislative authority is given to someone other than Allah, may He be exalted; rather it is given to the people and their deputies, and what matters is not their consensus but the majority. Thus what the majority agree upon becomes laws that are binding on the nation, even if it is contrary to common sense, religious teaching or reason. In these systems legislation has been promulgated allowing abortion, same-sex marriage and usurious interest (riba); the rulings of sharee‘ah have been abolished; and fornication/adultery and the drinking of alcohol are permitted. In fact this system is at war with Islam and its followers.

Allah, may He be exalted, has told us in the His Book that legislative authority belongs to Him alone, and that He is the wisest of those who issue rulings and judge. He has forbidden the association of anyone with Him in His authority, and no one is better than Him in ruling.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“So the judgement is only with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great!”

[Ghaafir 40:12]

“The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism), that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not”

[Yoosuf 12:40]

“Is not Allah the Best of judges?”

[at-Teen 95:8]

“Say: ‘Allah knows best how long they stayed. With Him is (the knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth. How clearly He sees, and hears (everything)! They have no Walee (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule’”

[al-Kahf 18:26]

“Do they then seek the judgement of (the Days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm Faith?”

[al-Maa’idah 5:50]

Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, is the Creator of all things and He knows what is good for them and what is in their best interests of rulings. Human beings vary in intellect, attitude and customs, and they are unaware of what is best for them, let alone what is best for others. Hence in societies that are ruled by the people in terms of legislation and laws, one sees only corruption, immorality and disintegration of the social fabric.

It should be noted that in many countries this system has changed into something that has no reality behind it, and it is mere slogans by which people are deceived; in fact the real ruler is the head of state and his helpers, and the people are suppressed and have no say in anything.

There is nothing more indicative of that than the fact that when this democracy produces results that do not suit the desires of the rulers, they crush it underfoot. Cases of election fraud, suppression of freedoms and silencing of the voices of those who speak the truth are well known to everyone and do not need further proof.

This is very clear in many countries and does not need any proof.

It says in Mawsoo‘ah al-Adyaan wa’l-Madhaahib al-Mu‘aasirah (2/1066):

Representative democracy:

This is one of the democratic systems in which the people exercise authority through a council of elected representatives of the people. In this system the people retain the right to exercise some aspects of authority directly by various means, the most important of which are:

1.     The right to propose laws, which is done when a number of people propse a law in general terms or in detail, which the parliament will then discuss and vote upon.

2.     The right to a referendum, whereby a law that has already been approved by Parliament is presented to the people so that they can have their say.

3.     The right of objection, whereby a number of voters defined by the Constitution have the right to object to a law within a certain period after it has been passed, which will result in taking the matter to the people for a general referendum; if the people agree with it, it will be promulgated, otherwise it will be annulled. This is included in most modern constitutions.

Undoubtedly democratic systems are one of the modern forms of shirk, in terms of obedience and submission, or in legislation, as it disregards the authority of the Creator, may He be glorified and exalted, and His absolute right of legislation, and regards that as one of the rights of created beings. But Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged), you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism), that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not.”

[Yoosuf 12:40]

“Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am on clear proof from my Lord (Islamic Monotheism), but you deny (the truth that has come to me from Allah). I have not gotten what you are asking for impatiently (the torment). The decision is only for Allah, He declares the truth, and He is the Best of judges.”

[al-An ‘aam 6:57].

End quote.

Thirdly:

Many people think that the word democracy means freedom! But this is incorrect because freedom is one of the by-products of democracy. What we mean by freedom here is freedom of belief, freedom of decadence, and freedom of expression, and these also have many negative impacts on Muslim societies, because matters have gone so far that aspersions are cast upon the Messengers and the messages, and upon the Qur’an and the Sahaabah, on the grounds of freedom of opinion; and wanton display and uncovering are tolerated, and indecent images and movies are propagated on the grounds of freedom. Many such things are happening, of which there is a long list, all of which are playing a part in the corruption of the ummah, morally and spiritually.

Even that freedom for which countries are calling by means of democratic systems is not absolute. We see whims and desires, and vested interests, behind the limitations on those freedoms. At the time when their systems tolerate aspersions upon the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and the Qur’an, on the grounds of freedom of expression, we find that this freedom is denied when speaking about matters such as the “Nazi Holocaust of the Jews”! In fact anyone who denies this Holocaust is treated as a criminal and put in prison, even though it is a historical matter that may be denied.

If these people really are promoting freedom, then why do they not let the Muslim peoples choose their own path and religion? Why did they colonize their lands and play a role in changing their religion and beliefs? What do these freedoms have to do with Italy’s slaughter of the Libyan people, or with France's slaughter of the Algerian people, or with Britain’s slaughter of the Egyptian people, or with America’s slaughter of the Afghan and Iraqi peoples?

According to those who promote it, freedom may be subject to several restrictions, including the following:

1.     The law. Man does not have absolute freedom to drive in the opposite direction to traffic in the street, or to open a shop without a license, and if he says “I am free,” no one will pay any attention to him.

2.     Custom. A woman in their countries – for example – cannot go to offer condolences to the bereaved wearing a bathing suit. If she says “I am free”, the people will look down on her and throw her out, because it is contrary to custom.

3.     Public taste. One of them – for example – cannot eat and pass wind in front of people, or even burp! The people will look down on him even if he says, “I am free.”

Furthermore, we say:

Why shouldn’t our religion restrict our freedom, as their freedom is restricted by things that they cannot deny? Undoubtedly what is taught by Islam is that which is in people’s best interests. If a woman is forbidden to make a wanton display, or if the people are forbidden to drink alcohol and eat pork, and so on, all of that is in their best interests, physically and mentally, and for their general welfare. But they refused to restrict their freedom if the injunction comes from religion, but they say “we hear and we obey” if it comes from human beings like them or from a (man-made) law.

Fourthly:

Some people think that the word democracy is equivalent to shoora (consultation) in Islam! This is a mistaken notion for many reasons, including the following:

1.     Shoora has to do with new matters that arise or with matters that are not explained in detail in the texts of the Qur’an or Sunnah. With regard to the “rule of the people”, the people may discuss what is well-established in religion, which may lead to refusing to acknowldge the prohibitions on that which is forbidden, and to forbidding that which Allah has permitted or made obligatory. So the sale of alcohol is permitted according to these laws, as are fornication/adultery and riba (usury), but these laws put pressures on Islamic organizations and the activities of those who call people to Allah. This is diametrically opposed to sharee‘ah, so what does this have to do with shoora?

2.     The majlis ash-shoora (consultative committee) is to be formed of people who have a deep knowledge of fiqh, Islam and sharee‘ah, fahm, and have a high level of piety and good character. So no one who is of bad character or foolish, or is a disbeliever or atheist, is to be consulted or involved in the shoora process. As for the democratic councils of representatives, they pay no attention to any of the con ditions mentioned above. The representative may be a disbeliever, or of bad character or foolish. What does this have to do with shoora as prescribed in Islam?

3.     Shoora is not binding upon the ruler; the ruler may give precedence to the view of one member of the council that is supported by proof, and prefer his view over that of the other council members, whereas in the case of representative democracy, the agreement of the majority becomes legally binding upon the people.

Once this is known, then what the Muslims must do is be proud of their religion and trust that the rulings of the Lord are best for them in this world and in the Hereafter, and they should disavow systems that go against the laws of Allah.

What all other Muslims must do – rulers and ruled alike – is adhere to the laws of Allah, may He be exalted, in all their affairs. It is not permissible for anyone to follow a system or methodology other than Islam. One of the indications of their acceptance of Allah as their Lord, Islam as their religion, and Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as their Prophet and Messenger, is that the Muslims adhere to Islam outwardly and inwardly; they respect the laws of Allah and follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).

We ask Allah to honour us with Islam and to cause the plots of the traitors to fail.

And Allah knows best.
