Praise be to Allaah.
It is mustahabb for the Muslim to read Qur’aan a great deal during Ramadhaan and to strive to complete it, but that is not obligatory, i.e., if he does not complete the Qur’aan he is not sinning, but he has missed out on a great deal of reward. The evidence for that is the report narrated by al-Bukhaari (4614) from Aboo Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: Jibreel used to review the Qur’aan with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once every year, and he reviewed...

Thought for the day...
The tongue is a means to good or evil. What a delight it would be for those who remember ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA), seek HIS forgiveness, praise HIM, glorify HIM, give thanks to HIM, and repent with their tongues. And, what a disappointment it would be for those who use it to violate honour and sanctity and besmirch values. O fasting people, moisten your tongue with the remembrance of ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA), discipline it with Taqwa and cleanse it from disobedience.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (RADIYALLAAHU ANHU) that the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended the minbar and said: "Aameen", "Aameen", "Aameen."
It was said to him, "O Messenger of ALLAAH (ﷺ), why did you do that?"
He said, "Jibreel (ALAHYI SALLAM) said to me, ‘If #Ramadaan comes and a person is not forgiven, he will enter Hell and ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA) will cast him far away. Say Aameen.’ So I said Aameen.

*The pillars of disbelief are four: Arrogance, Envy, Anger and Desire.*
Arrogance prevents the servant from obedience, envy prevents him from accepting advice, anger prevents him from justice, and desire prevents him from being devoted to worship. Removing the mountains from their places would be easier than removing these four from whoever was afflicted with them, especially if they have become solid bases, habits and firm characteristics....
